The individual is the only entity that actually exists. So to say that it cannot give birth to itself is a nonsensical strawman. A baby is indeed birthed by an individual and not by society.
A society is just a group of individuals. Yes, an individual cannot accomplish by himself as much as a group of individuals can. This is why voluntary trade is such a great benefit to individuals. But notice I said voluntary trade. This is because deprived of freedom individuals gain no value in living with others.
